The Election of chairman of Cassovia New Industry Cluster (CNIC)

On September 30, 2021, Pavol Miškovský, the current director of Technology and
Innovation Park (TIP) of the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik, was elected as the chairman
of the Cassovia New Industry Cluster (CNIC). The goal of Cassovia New Industry Cluster
is to create a new modern industry in easter Slovakia through close cooperation between
universities (UPJŠ, TUKE, UVLF), scientific institutes of the Slovak Academy of Sciences
and private hight-tech industry with the support of local governments, and thereby raise
the economic and social level of eastern Slovakia to the European average.
