Guest Lectures by a Visiting Academic from Lviv at the Institute of Computer Science (May 2026)
As part of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme (2023 call) and our cooperation with the partner institution Lviv University of Trade and Economics (Ukraine), Zoriana Novosad completed a teaching mobility at the Institute of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, UPJŠ, from 4 to 8 May 2026.
During her stay, she contributed to the teaching of the courses Data Analysis Project and Introduction to Machine Learning, delivering a series of lectures on selected topics in data science and machine learning:
- Linear Regression for Data Science: Modeling and Prediction
- Multicollinearity and Model Stability in Machine Learning
- Expert-Based Approaches in Data Science
- Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos Theory in Data Analysis
The lectures enriched the courses with up-to-date perspectives on modeling, model stability, and data analysis, and gave students the opportunity to engage with these topics from an international perspective. The mobility also strengthened the ongoing cooperation between the Institute of Computer Science and Lviv University of Trade and Economics, which includes a joint (double-degree) study programme.
