The aim of the meeting was to identify areas in which the faculty’s know-how in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and physics<\/strong> could contribute to streamlining production and logistics processes in industrial practice.\r\n\r\n\r\n
\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\nMagna Powertrain was represented at the meeting by Jaroslav<\/strong> Varga, Mat\u00fa\u0161 Bednar\u010d\u00edk a Edita Ivanov\u00e1<\/strong>. UPJ\u0160 was represented by Vice-Dean Michal Gallay <\/a><\/strong>, J\u00e1n<\/strong> F\u00fczer<\/strong><\/a> from Institute of Physical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice (UPJ\u0160)<\/a>, \u013dubom\u00edr<\/strong> Antoni<\/strong><\/a> from The Institute of Informatics<\/a> and by Jozef<\/strong> Kise\u013e\u00e1k<\/strong><\/a> from Institute of Mathematics<\/a>.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\nThe discussion focused mainly on opportunities for cooperation in the application of artificial intelligence methods and advanced data analysis in the optimization of inventory, logistics flows, and decision-making processes in manufacturing. The negotiations also included the involvement of students in solving practical tasks in the form of diploma theses, the design of professional training courses for process engineers, and the development of joint research and application projects.\r\n\r\n\r\n
\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\nThe meeting confirmed mutual interest in systematic and long-term cooperation between academia and industry partners, which supports the transfer of knowledge into practice and strengthens the connection among research, education, and innovation.\r\n\r\n\r\n
